     Colon was born on 7 September 1953 at Kansas City, Jackson County, Missouri. He married Lori Elaine Davison in 1971 at Bellevue, Jackson County, Iowa. Colon Lee Combs Jr and Lori Elaine Davison were divorced before 1977. Colon was accidentally drowned during a family outing. He died on 5 September 1981 at Oklahoma at age 27.
