He graduated in 1961 from William Fleming High School Roanoke, Roanoke City, Virginia.3 He was a student at Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 1967.1 Al was a member of Grace Lutheran Church at Raleigh, Wake County, North Carolina, circa 1979. He was employed by The American Society of Civil Engineers from 2000 to 2023 at Reston, Virginia, as Assistant Vice President, Law Engineering & Environmental Services.4
Al Tice was also a clarinetist in the Raleigh Concert Band at Raleigh, Wake County, North Carolina.5
