     Erwin was born on 12 September 1924 at Streeter, Stutsman County, North Dakota.1,2 He married Nelda Ann Cornelius on 6 June 1948 at Andrew, Jackson County, Iowa.3 Erwin died on 20 August 1980 at Stillwater, Washington County, Minnesota, at age 55.4,5 He was buried at Christ Lutheran Cemetery, Lake Elmo, Minnesota.
     He lived at Streeter Village, Stutsman County, North Dakota, on 1 April 1930 with Emanuel Wieland and Barbara Wieland.6 He was a student at Streeter High School at Streeter, Stutsman County, North Dakota, from 1938 to 1942.7 Erwin Raymond Wieland lived at Streeter, Stutsman County, North Dakota, on 1 April 1940 with Emanuel Wieland and Barbara Wieland.8 He was a student at Wartburg College at Waverly, Bremer County, Iowa, from 1943 to 17 August 1945.9 Erwin Raymond Wieland graduated from Wartburg Theological Seminary on 2 June 1948 Dubuque, Dubuque County, Iowa.10 He was ordained a pastor of the American Lutheran Church by A.H.      Charles was born on 10 August 1931 at New Prague, Le Sueur County, Minnesota.2 He married Hertha Edna Bieber on 4 September 1955 at Columbus, Franklin County, Ohio.3 Charles Paul Lutz died on 3 April 2022 at Richfield, Hennepin County, Minnesota, at age 90.
     He lived at St. Paul Church Parsonage, German Lake, Le Sueur County, Minnesota, from 1 July 1930 to September 1937 with Paul Carl Gerhard Lutz and Olga A L C Lutz.4 As of September 1937, Paul Carl Gerhard Lutz and Olga A L C Lutz lived at Lime Springs, Iowa.4 Charles Paul Lutz lived at St. Paul's Church Parsonage, Lime Springs, Minnesota, from September 1937 to December 1943 with Paul Carl Gerhard Lutz and Olga A L C Lutz.4 Charles Paul Lutz lived at Sage Street, Lime Springs, Howard County, Iowa, on 1 April 1940 with Paul Carl Gerhard Lutz and Olga A L C Lutz.5

He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and Journalism at Wartburg College.8 Charles Paul Lutz appeared on the census of 13 April 1950 at 210 6th St. NW, Waverly, Bremer County, Iowa.9 He lived at Emanuel Church, Fontanelle, Adair County, Iowa, from 1950 to 1957 with Paul Carl Gerhard Lutz and Olga A L C Lutz.7 He was a student at Capital Theological Seminary at Columbus, Ohio, from 1953 to 1957. He earned the Master of Divinity degree in Theology at Capital Seminary.8
     Charles Paul Lutz was a freelance writer who edited and wrote several books on social issues of the church. He was employed in 1955 as the editor of the Lutheran youth magazine One. He was employed by the Center for Urban Encounter from 1966 to 1969 at Minneapolis-St. Paul, Hennepin County, Minnesota, as its founding director.1 He was employed by the U.S. Conference for the World Council of Churches as an Associate Executive Secretary from 1969 to 1971 at New York City, New York.1 He was employed by the Lutheran Council in the USA as Director, Office of Selective Service Information from 1971 to 1973 at New York City, New York.1 He was employed by the national office of The American Lutheran Church as Director, Church in Community, Life and Mission in the Congregation from 1974 to 1988 at Minneapolis, Hennepin County, Minnesota.1 Charles Paul Lutz and Hertha Edna Bieber lived at Minneapolis, Hennepin County, Minnesota. Charles Paul Lutz was employed by the Greater Minneapolis Council of Churches as its President from 1988 to 1990 at Minneapolis, Hennepin County, Minnesota. He was employed by Metro Lutheran newspaper from 1988 to 1996 at Minneapolis, Hennepin County, Minnesota, as Editor.8
      They witnessed Renata Glendora Bieber's burial in August 2005 at Andrew Cemetery, Andrew, Jackson County, Iowa.10
     Charles Paul Lutz received the S.C. Michelfelder Award for Christian Service from Trinity Lutheran Seminary, Columbus, Ohio, during June Commencement ceremonies in June 2006 at Columbus, Ohio.11
